Ahmed’s Story 

Medical Director for Assistance Operations, Hong Kong

"After working in a private practice and emergency room in Paris, I joined International SOS to practice medicine at an expatriate emergency centre in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo for a few weeks. After this experience, I had many opportunities to work in different locations around the world, including Nigeria for two years. In 1999, I moved to Hong Kong as a senior coordinating doctor and later I became the deputy medical director. I always wanted to work for a multinational company that is dynamic and provides the chance to have an international career. Moreover, the daily challenges in International SOS certainly make each day unique and the work exciting."
