Assistance to a domestic traveller during the COVID-19 pandemic

Problem

Our client reached out to us and was concerned as they were unsure of the interstate restrictions and likelihood of successful travel for an interstate business meeting. They were worried that they would have to quarantine for 14 days in their hotel, as they had planned to attend a face-to-face meeting interstate.

Solution

Our security coordinator was on hand to provide our client with information on the up to date protocols for interstate travel in Australia between New South Wales and Queensland. We provided comprehensive information and advice on the quarantine requirements that were imposed during that period.

Impact

The impact was very positive as our client did not miss their face-to-face business meeting that they were travelling for and did not have to quarantine on arrival back to Sydney for 14 days, which helped our client save costs of 2,400AUD.
