Business travellers exposed to COVID-19 during a domestic trip

Overview

International SOS supported a dozen business travellers after being exposed to COVID-19 during a domestic trip.

Problem

Due to the COVID-19 exposure, the business travellers were required to quarantine. An air charter was requested to bring the employees back so they would not have to quarantine away from home.

Solution

The crisis management team from the organisation was activated and worked closely with us on a plan of action. An air charter was arranged and executed, but the travellers still needed medical advice and monitoring once back home.

Impact

The impact was positive as our client were able to fulfil their Duty of Care agenda, keeping their employees safe and quarantined with limited outside exposure.
